- ATS Scanner — Analyzes resumes against job descriptions to estimate ATS compatibility.
- AI Resume Suggestions — AI-powered summaries, project descriptions, and content enhancement.
- PDF Resume Generation — Export resumes as professionally formatted PDF documents.
- Career Tools — Additional utilities to support the job application process.

Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when creating an account, building a resume, or using our services. This may include:

- Uploaded Resume Files (PDFs uploaded for ATS scanning)
- Job Descriptions (when using the ATS scanner with a job description)
- Usage Analytics (how you interact with the platform)
- Device Information, Browser Information, IP Address
- Authentication Information (provided via Firebase Authentication)
- Generated Resume PDFs (output files you create)
- Account Preferences (template selections, formatting choices)
- Firestore document data (resume data stored in your account)
You provide this information voluntarily. You may choose not to provide certain information, though this may limit the functionality available to you.
AI Processing
QMSkills uses third-party AI providers to generate summaries, project descriptions, ATS analysis, and other AI-powered features. Current providers may include NVIDIA NIM, OpenRouter, and other configured providers.
When you use AI-powered features, your prompts and submitted content may be transmitted securely to these providers in order to generate AI responses. The handling of submitted data by third-party AI providers is governed by their respective policies.
Important: We encourage you not to submit highly confidential or sensitive personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary to create a professional resume. AI-generated content should be reviewed before use.
Firebase
QMSkills uses Firebase and Firestore, a Google platform, for the following purposes:
- Authentication — User sign-in and account management via Firebase Authentication.
- Resume Storage — Resume data is stored securely in Firestore documents.
- User Profiles — Account preferences and profile information.
- Application Data — Operational data required for platform functionality.
- Cloud Storage — Uploaded files and generated PDFs, if applicable.
Data stored in Firebase is encrypted at rest and in transit. Firebase's security practices are documented by Google in their Cloud Platform documentation.
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information, including:
- Authentication and access controls
- Secure cloud storage with encryption at rest and in transit
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmissions

You can delete individual resumes at any time through your account. Account deletion will remove your personal information and stored resumes from our active systems.

Children's Privacy
QMSkills is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
